I have the opportunity to purchase a 2006 manual transmission A3 with 124,000 miles - an average of over 100 miles per day - for a very good price. The water pump and timing belt have just been replaced.

Some vehicles [e.g. BMW motorcycles] are known for very specific things that need attention at high mileage or certain intervals, yet they keep on ticking otherwise for a very long time.

Does anyone have an idea of what to expect at this stage forward other than normal wear and tear items (tires, belts, etc.)?
