Default Need help with brake problems!!!

Hi I am new to this forum so firstly hi!
I have very limited technical knowledge on cars in general but have a small understanding.

My problem is with my breaks. They are very 'spongy' and barely break at all. They only push down a small amount but feel like they are trying to push back. My car is I drivable because even doing 10mph it takes a good second and a half to stop!!

I just had my turbo replaced with a new one and two front tyrers and rear drivers tyre replaced. Then when I went to pick it up I found the brakes were not really working!

I have had the rear discs and pads changed after this but has made no difference.

Upon reading up about it most people suggest bleeding the brakes, I had a mechanic 'say' he did this twice but to no effect. ( I'm inclined to not believe him, but he didn't try to say it was anything else or offer to try replacing another part so no gain in him lying!)

The other options people have suggested are brake servo(not sure what this is), a secondary cylinder (again no clue) or a hole in the vaccine tube to the brakes.

Also worth noting is that when my car is off and I put my foot on the brakes it makes a continuos tone, similar to a reversing tone but nonstop until I take my foot off.
I also had the ESP light stay on for a second but not happened since.

I'm just wondering if anyone can give me any information regarding this because it all helps diagnose it. It's (not literally) driving me crazy!!!

I have a 2002 Audi A3 1.9 TDi 110 brake.

I would start by checking the vacuum pump to see if it's working. With the engine running, pull the brake booster tube out of the grommet and check for a vacuum. The pump is on the left side of the engine (above the trans), runs off the end of one of the camshafts. It's about 4" diameter and a couple inches thick with a big tube coming out of the front area. I've seen them fail on TDI and cause very poor braking from no boost assist. Ideally you would check it with a vacuum gauge. Should have a minimum of 18".

I believe we speak about millions or even billions when it comes to vaccines. It is a huge global market that is only growing. Besides, the vaccines are sold at governmental level so big money is involved. Nobody will ever know how vaccine production is being financed. But big pharma companies are surely getting investments from the government. At least, in the UK https://worldcams.tv/united-kingdom/.../marine-parade.
