Hi. I came out into my garage one day to find that the molding strip on one side of my '09 A3's roof had popped out.

Upon closer inspection, I could see little white clips underneath had broken (I presume due to heat).

Any idea where I could get replacement clips online? Not really any Audi dealers near me (though there is a Voltswagon place).

For my car, the parts were labeled wrong on the parts diagram fyi. When you order you can input your vin, and remarks for clarification (they dont like answering questions on the phone, oh well they are a dealership after all :0 ).

 

They use white clips 8P4853573A for 1.12 each, and also black clips 8P4853573C for 1.61 each. The quantities used on the car looks like 4 blacks per side, and 5 white ones per side. Now I know they don't use that many per side, so the quantities in Etka are wrong. They look almost the same except for the color. They are cheap enough we could sell 4 of each and that would take care of it. Or pull your molding off and count them up. You can order off our website, but I like the phone myself. Thanks, Jeff.
