Default New Hot Hatch to compete with!!

Well, as I spoke about prior, Subaru just released the 2008 WRX. Check out this link I found on the Evo site.
Granted, it's not the STI (Which IMO will smoke!).
Frankly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be with this hatch. These pics look econo box!! I'll keep my A3 and Evo!!!

Looks like the images a few months back at http://www.autospies.com/news/SPIED-...eza-WRX-12170/ were right on the mark. Not a bad looking car...looks like the Mazda3, which IMO is pretty nice looking.

Hopefully they stepped up the hp and torque over the previous model years...my old WRX wimpered in the low rpms. Hard to say for sure, but Subaru still has a long way to go with fit and finish. My '04 dash was well laid out but it was also a plasticky buzzbox.

I'll keep and admire the A3 asa beautifully designed, sophisticated, fun to drive, potent sports machine, although with a FEW flaws. I don't think the new WRX will bea competitor to most who would be interested in an A3 to begin with.

My .02.
