Hello clever audi fans,

Does anyone know if the remote can be programmed to open and close the sunroof just as the windows are programmed to open and close if you hold the unlock button down on the remote?

It would be so flash if I can get the roof open before I even settle in!

 

Windows - YES
Opensky - NO (unfortunately)

One would think it would be such an easy thing to do. *sigh*

(Yes, I can hear the response...it is also easy to press the button to open and close it from inside the car!)

 

If your OS is open and you want to close it from outside the car, you can do so my inserting the key into the door and holding in the (un)lock position...(I don't remember which way to turn/hold the key to close the OS). Turning/holding the key in the opposite direction will open the windows but I do not recall if it opens the OS too.

E (never uses this feature)

 

I have mine programmed to the keyfob - it will close the OS with the windows, but won't open it.

 

I stand corrected (partially) then.

hesaputz is correct. i have mine set the sameway. iirc, if you have the keyfob set to open/close windows, it should close the opensky as well.

 

I will let you guys know, as I said, just off to Audi this morning.

Mine closes/opens windows, but does nothing with the OS. We'll see if they help me out.
