Figured I would post some pics. Not the best pics the sun was coming down but meh. Any who, Tint job done last sat. and I got rid of the front plate. Tint is 20% all around. I have solid black interior so it makes it look much darker.

Now I just have to decide if I should chip or lower first. I really am leaning toward lowering it, as itneeds to be loweredBADLY.

 

wow that looks good, are you in Cali? It looks pretty dark overall, is it legal? You have the Ti package, very nice!

 

In cali its illegal to have any tint on the front driver and passenger windows that do not allow 70% light though. So basically no tint =x all other windows can be as dark as you want.

 

so is that what a 30% tint for the front window would mean, you would have 70% of the light coming through? sorry if this is a noob question!

 

works the opposite. 30% would mean it only allows 30% of the light through or in other words it blocks 70% of the visible light.

 

It's the opposite. 30% tint lets 30% light through (i.e. blocking 70% of light transmission).

Limo black is virtually equivalent to 5%


I chose a lighter shade for the front since I was told the cops only care that the front is lighter than the rest. Pure sales tactic. Its still illegal though.

 

yea my tint came out darker then expected. But I like it :P

 

that's my exact car from the outside -- and the tint looks amazing. makes me want it even more.

the shop around here does 20% or 30%. what's the exact percent on that?

 

looks awsome, I really need to get mine tinted asap. My car is like looking into a glass box right now
