Default Picked up my audi from dealership at 6:30 friday night... 2 hours later it's broken

I'm absolutely ******* livid.

Just splashed out £15 grand on a 2007 s-line a3 (2.0 tdi) which I collected from Volkswagen York (jct600) at 6:30pm. Stopped at a friends house, showed him the car for 10 minutes, went home, waited for the missus who was messing around so said I'd go fill it up with diesel and then come back in 15 mins.

Filled up with diesel and went for a razz to some local twisty roads. At about 60mph in 5th gear, I pressed for a tiny bit of acceleration but the engine just bogged down and the rev's started to drop very slowly... Very Odd I thought... carried on till the next available side road and pulled in to do a u-turn and head home. Car had stalled and dash lights were all on.

Tried to start the engine twice - it turned over but wouldn't catch. Pushed it out of the road and tried once more but gave up, called volkswagen assistance and wandered down the road to the local yokel pub where all the local yokels took the **** out of me for the better part of 2 hours. On the bright side it was £1.70 a pint, on the bad side I only had £3 on me

Recovery guy seems to think it could be the injector pump which has gone as turning the ignition on and off was priming the system i.e. diesel spraying out of the return pipe but not enough to get the engine to fire. Recovered the car back to my house and I'm gonna ring volkswagen tomorrow.

This is the first reasonably expensive/luxury car I've ever had, all the others have been bangers and sub-£7k cars which have all been flawless. This one was great to drive for the first 2 hours and now it's just an expensive ornament sat on my driveway...

Can anyone offer any advice on this at all please? What it could be, what could have caused it? (yes I've already checked 5 times I definitely filled with diesel and not petrol)...

NOT a pretty sight... his **** is awful as well
