<<< Please Identify This Leaking/Cracked Vacuum Line >>>
Hey guys,
I own e46 M3's and have really never worked on Audi's, so I apologize now for my ignorance. My buddies A3 is creating a high pitch noise and I have sourced the issue to this line. When I put my fingers around the hose where it meets the plug, the noise stops. I believe there is a crack somewhere in the hose, very close to the plug itself. It may not be the hose, but a broken plug/connection piece.
Can someone tell me what the line is? I need to purchase a new one, possibly along with the plug. Also, what is the unit that this line connects too?
Thanks in advance.
Note: It is the larger black tube under my finger, the sound/leak is coming right at the elbow where the line meets the plug/connection piece.
