Query: 2006 Audi A3
I am offered a 2006 Audi A3 for $5,500.00 - Appears to be in excellent condition. This is the turbo model with premium package.
They SAY it was just serviced, but the "Service" notice comes on. I can ask for receipt to take care of that question, I suppose.
My question is the mileage. This car has 143,000 or so miles. How can I know if there will be repairs or not? Do A3's last beyond this? Like I say, I have rarely seen one in this good of condition. Whoever kept it, they kept it well.
But this is just eyeballing it. It "looks" in good condition (I'd almost say excellent condition), and I know that is a good sign. my concern is how well these things do under that kinda mileage and how much servicing and repair costs will be. How much to fix the turbo if it goes bad? What kinda questions should I be asking? I am keen to get the car, but the mileage has me worried.
Is there reason for concern, or do these cars last beyond 150,000?
