questions: speedometer, 0-60 times
OK, some dork in a Jetta with a fart can exhaust actually revved me at a light and tried to pass me from the right turn lane. Long story short, my 3.2 is bone stock except for window tinting. I shifted into S-mode and let DSG do its thing. Had that fool by 50 yards or so with no major effort. It's also the first time I have truly gunned the A3's throttle.
Two questions though: does anyone know if the brochure's 0-60 timesfor DSG are based on "D" or "S"? Usually manufactureres are a little too boastful about thoese times, but I was up to 65mph in 6 seconds easily. Was also a smooth and level stretch of road, though. Secondly - anyone notice there is a 1mph discrepancy between the analog and digital speedometers? The needle always seems to read 1mph higher. Usual, or maybe a software glitch?

I'm not sure about the manufacturer's figures being rated in d or s, i go with road and track's numbers (3.2-5.9s, 2.0-6.4s) which are noticeably less thanaudi's. whats this about the a digital speedo? have i missed something in my entire nearly 6months of ownership?
I thought 5.9 was Audi's number for the 3.2, so I had expected something more like 7-7.5. I underestimated this beast.
Maybe I wasn't paying attention when driving the 2006s or 2.0s, but I have an analog speedometer on the right side of the gauge cluster and a digital readout in the center.
