Default A Rented Mule

How many times a week do you put the gas pedalon the floor (hard)?
An equally valid question...How many times a week do you guys find yourself (by accident ofcourse) over 100 mph?

My answers:Atleast once per dayand 4 (which is coincedentally everytime i get on the highway)

Can she take this abuse?

Maybe a couple times per month. Only when I'm on the interstate for long periods of time (i.e. more than an hour). On the local highways I usually don't go above 90.

MAYBE once every other week or so. Too many cops around here.

Only once. Every other time I have known that I was going to see my needle in the triple digit area of the speedometer.

Anyone doing 150km/h now in Ontario Canada, gets an instant suspension, seizure of your car (impounded), and jail + min fine of $2000.

So, used to push it on the highway...dont even break 139km/h now.

New law put in about 3 weeks agobecause of all the recent accidents + deaths due to what the police call "racing" on the highways.

When the law began, the first 6 hours at 12:00 am the other week, the cops had seized close to 300 vehicles I beleive.

Being a German car, it was designed to drive on the Autobahn. I am sure it can handle the spirited highway jaunts better than it can the drag racing launches.

Yeah.

I used to punch it very frequently and hit 100+ daily. Now I'm much more mellow and hit it on occasion, but only for a brief moment. I've had the car to 150mph before and the engine and transmission were fine, although the car started to lift. That was with a stock sport suspension. The car can definitely handle a ton of abuse.

Cheers!

When I'm on the roads, I'm mellow. On the freeways, I'm doing an average of 90 when no one is causing traffic. Sometimes (maybe once a week) I'll find myself hitting a hundred to pass someone.

100mph 3 times a week traffic flys during certin times during the day it's worse when you dont know your doing it. Slowing back to 65 kills you after 7 miles above 100
