Default RS3 Front Bumper- HELP/Advice needed

Hey Guys,
I am the proud owner of a 2012 A3 (Premium Plus-S Line). I just purchased the car and have fallen in love with it! The car looks great, but I'd love to change out the front bumper cover to the more aggressive looking RS3 style from earlier years. I noticed that there is this ebay posting (link below) which says that this bumper cover will only fit 2005-2008 Audis. In my understanding, I thought that the 2nd generation A3 is from 2003-2012, so shouldn't this be able to fit on my car?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

There was a face-lift/change in 2008/2009. Technically it is still considered 8p (as you said) however because of that facelift I'd be careful in regards to the exact fitment of aftermarket stuff if it doesn't state it will fit.

If you don't need the bumper itself - only the grill/looks, considering buying just that and save some money - as well as a headache (since you can make sure it fits).

For example I bought this for my 2007 A3 and love it (they have it for later models as well, for your convenience I posted the one that should fit yours):

I haven't found the fog light grille yet but I'm sure you can find them elsewhere (maybe ebay?)
