Default S3 in USA?

Has anybody heard weather they are going to bring the S3 to the US or not. I saw that the 3.2 quatro is here with the sweet gearbox, so I was hoping that the S version was soon behind. Any links would be appreciated.

Considering A3 sales, I highly doubt it.[&o]

if they came out w/ a 3 door in the next 4 months id buy it in a second.

I really wish they'd make a 3 door, 2.5T quattro A3, how sweet would that be?

I just picked up my A3 3.2 Quattro and it has 7 S type badges on it so I'm guessing this is it for us here. What a great car, it's a blast to drive. What is the horsepower of the S3 and engine size?

There are varying reports, but it seems that the S3 will have the 4 cylinder engine blown to produce 272 hp. RS3 has a blown 6 cylinder producing 350 hp. Both are supposed to be available in Europe this Summer. Don't hold your breath on either getting to the States.
