Service intervals
Hey,
Anyone here, purchased a 2006 A3 2.0 DSG in Canada? I recently put my car in for it's first service at 8,000 kms and noticed when I got the car back the dealership has marked the next service in another 8,000 kms (Total 16,000). According to the actual service book it should be after another 17,000 (Total 25,000).
Thanks!

RE: Service intervals
Can anybody show me any objective tests showing better performance/mileage/engine life from 5K oil changes versus 10K/Annual oil changes using Mobil 1 or another full syntetic?
Amsoil peddlers need not apply.

...and while we're on the subject...
I've mentioned it before but I can't believe you guys don't get the variable servicing over there. Whether you agree with it or not you should have the option surely? And an oil change at 5k is unbelievable.
