is there a way to update the sirius stations? they've switched some channels around and my bose hasn't switched with it. it's driving me insane, i want to see the same station they're announcing. also, is there a way to get title info to scroll like the RDS is capapble of doing?

 

I think the update is automatic, although you can contact them and ask to send a ping with all of the info to your radio. I know that they have added the Grateful Dead channel and it still says Disorder on my display. Oh well.

That's weird. I've had a few tuners and they've always updated automtically when the channels were changed (24- 90's Alt, 29- Punk, 33- Area 33, 100/101- Howard). Do give them a call, they should be able to fix it over the air. I've always been pleased with their customer service reps.

What channel is Grateful Dead? I'll have to check if mine updated that one.

 

grateful dead is #32, disorder was moved to 70, the 90's channel is now called lithium....

 

i called and they sent an "update" that didn't change anything. it's weird, you'd think they would be on top of this crap.

 

if you pay for it then you want it or a rebate at least ( money back ) that will get their attention

 

got an email from these bozos. evidently, they haven't created an update for the new channel changes yet for any kind of receiver. kind of lame, if you ask me. they didn't say when (or if) they would be doing the update.
