Software Update Question
So I got a check engine light and take it to the dealer to have it checked out. It returns:
P0024 B Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced or System Performance (Bank 2)
and they say they:
Software Update will need to be performed and and mechanical engine timing checked/corrected before futher diagnosis can be performed.
my questioon is do they really to update my onboard software to do this? they want roughly 250 dollars to do that.
