so I took my car in to have the DV replaced under warranty, which it was. Of course this also meant they loaded the I3 software update. No problem, I can take it to get it reflashed again, except i can't find the god damned receipt. So now i'm out of a chip, or out another 800 to get it chipped again. **** me.

thanks, i emailed eurocode to see if there's anything they can/will do about it, but i'm not holding my breath.

 

they dont have you on record or on file at all? that's kinda messed up that they dont keep a record of their customers in the system

 

i haven't talked to them yet cause they are closed right now. But when i got it I got a "special" discount by paying cash(aka tax-free) so i dont think theres a record.

 

If you recall having a paper receipt, its likely they entered your info in their system. Keep hope alive.

 

If you went to a tuner shop they usually have to enter the car vin#, customers name etc in the system, at least thats what apr does down here all the info goes into the same laptop that does the flash for you. Were you standing next to the guy as he was flashing your cu and asking you for theinfo?

 

I wouldn't worry. All tuners are supposed to enter the vin into the system to load the programing in so it is then in there records unless they are ripping off. eurocode and not reporting every install correctly.
