Hello i have an audi A3 2009
The problem is the little steering icon is always on even when the ley isnt in its very faint yellow colour.
It comes on red when first turn the ignition then goes out but only goes to this faint yellow.
Could this just be light bleeding
Also if you look hard enough you can see the others but not like this.
I am new to these forums any help would be apreciated. I have photos if i can upload them i will

 

My bet is that it's just light bleeding over from one of the other lamps. One way to check would be to disconnect the battery for a short time - on my 2006 A3, that will always set the power steering and (IIRC) ABS symbols until the car is moved 10-50 feet. If the symbol comes on "full yellow" in that condition, you know it's not "really" being illuminated when it's in its "dim mode".
