Stupid A3 Question from new owner
Hello Gents,
I am a newbie and prode owner of a '06 A3 from my neighbor with 11k miles on it.
I have a couple of dumb questions.
1. How do I remove the engine cover to install a K&N replacement filter?
2. I also purchased a Hyperboost DV, where in the heck is that located and is it something I can do?
I am mechanically inclined and have built a number of different Jeeps. I am back into the audi fold my last one was an '86 quattro 4000 cs.
Thanks for the help.

Just to add.
1) You'll be convinced you're going to break something but persevere. It's a good idea to put a blob of lubricant on the rubber plugs just before you put the cover back on so you don't have the same trouble again.
2) and 3) Err. What he ^^^ said.

So why doesn't the Hyperboost DV work on this model? Granted I am new to this but the unit was advertised for the A3. Oh, crap the european market has had A3's for awhile. is this for the older 1.8T engine?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.
