I see about ten or more A3's a day, about even women to men. Most women are driving blue, ones, but i'm in germany. I from Ohio and have visited and never once saw an A3, not even on the Audi lot. but that was last year, visiting the faimly. Very little exterior mods over here TUV.

 

I SAW MY FIRST A3 TODAY - of course I was picking up my boss at the Audi dealership and so this guy was probably going for service himself. I still wanted to lower the windowsand wave like the village idiot just to say hi to a fellow A3er... It is probably not the safest thing to do and with my boss seating next to me, probably not the best thing to do for my career or lack thereof... There is another A3 close to my place of work and one of these days I am going to stop and see who drives it.

Well I live in the bay area and I don't see many A3's at all (and especially white ones like mine) and I kind of like it like that. Last week I had somebody stop me in the middle of the road to ask about the car, it was kind of weird but yet made me glad that I bought it When I do see A3's though women are driving them most of the time,including me.

 

#1 is a Z4???? First of all, i didn't know anyone drove those..... and even if they did, they'd admit it. Almost as bad as driving a Z3. H*ll, #1 may as well be a Miata.

 

Here in the SF Bay area, it seems you pretty much see these cars close to a known dealer location. The number of Z4's (or z3's) is still somewhat rare to see on the road, same with A3's. Its nice that the A3 was high on the list of this survey, possible illustrating potential demand if only Audi would produce more variants such as the A3 Convertible if it finally makes it to the states in 2009. IMHO a A3 Convertable would be highly appealing to women drivers.

 

Mywife drives our A3 everywhere mainly because our SUV goes about 100 miles on the same amount of gas as our audi goes 400 miles on. Its one classy assed grocery getter.
There are only 2 other A3s in my area so it sets us apart from the heard.
