Default Tracking delivery of an new A3?

Hi folks; I ordered an A3 w/Titanium pkg. etc. (Scuba Blue) on Dec. 3rd. I haven't bugged the dealer about delivery, but I'm wondering how you all learned about when your car was being built and delivered? Did your dealer provide the info for you? I'm figuring delivery in mid-March.... MG

Default ~ 5 months

I ordered an A3 TDI 2011 end of July, received it end of December. I told the dealer it was important here by the end of the year to get a tax credit. They let me know when it arrived in the US and about 2-3 weeks later finished delivery, just in time.

One of the variables is what color car you ordered, I have heard cars are manufactured one color at a time. Definitely make sure they tell you when it is in the US so that it's not sitting in a shipyard for too long.

Default Audi delivery schedules

You can find most of the information you need at: http://hintlink.com/audi/audi_info.htm . Our A3 was ordered end of September 2010 and was commissioned and accepted on 27 December. Just in time for that tax ($650) credit.

Angry I'm bummed...

I just got a schedule for the delivery of my A3 Titanium... it's not scheduled for delivery until the end of MAY! I ordered the car on December 3rd. That's 6 months from order to delivery here in California...

Oh well, I wanted a hard to find combination... manual transmission, titanium package, nav, comfort package, open sky.... but 6 months!!

The demand for the A3 and A6 are so high that there is a long delay for those two.

FWIW,
I ordered my TDI in mid November and just got word that it arrived in port today. (Newark, Baltimore...?) The expected delivery was end of Feb, so I might be a couple days early. 90 days - on the low end of the 90-120 estimate they gave me on order.

Smile New A3 arriving earlier than expected

Well, my A3 Titanium has just shipped from Germany... should be here in SF in about a month. That will be 4 1/2 months from my order date... about a month less than I expected.... still a very long time to wait for a new car. I'm psyched; mid-April delivery.
