Hi there this is my first post so sorry if i make any mistakes, i was looking for some help my son is going to buy a 2007 a3 s line tdi 170bhp from my brother inlaw my son wants to upgrade the radio and put in a satnav system, so not sure but would he need to have the radio divorced from the car and then remarry the new radio back into the car. Or can he just unplug the old radio remove that and then plug the new radio straight back into the car.
With my car you have to use manufacters software to remove the radio and then code it back in.
