I'll meet you on thesnow course in Montreal. [sm=forgetit.gif]This thread has been officially hijacked. LoL. [sm=innoc.gif]
LOL
I'd take you up on that! I was born in the Midwest and grew up in Colorado, so snow driving is no problem. Although, I'd have to change out the Summer Tires first. On second thought, how bout you come to LA and we can all drive fast in the land of the crazys?[8D]
Cheers!

Eltonsi, I was thinking along the same line, only a dimwit would take on those guys with a STOCK R32 or 3.2, but on the rain or snow, even with your fancy, know-all, Colorado trained skills, winter tires clothed, modded to the max A3, Chef, all those little gadgets you have and the extra ponies will be for not once your front little front wheels spin…
Yeah, it would come down to driver skill. That's the kind of challenge that I truly love.
I used to own a 1975 Plymouth Duster and lived in Leadville, Colorado and drove that thing with all-season tires up and down the 24 mile mountain pass to/from work at Copper Mountain in the middle of winter. It's all about driver control under those circumstances. Sometimes I would have to get all my friends in the back to make it up a hill, or drive using the "force" when it was a total white-out and you just visualized where the turns and cliffs are, and responded accordingly. I never got stuck, but definitely drove through some real sticky situations.
Cheers!

AWD > FWD even with winter tires because I have winter tires too.
Skill is obviously important, but AWD is a huge advantage on a Snow course where power doesn't mean much when you can't put it on the ground. Every day driving is a different story. So come on up folks, forget about the Texas GTG. Montreal is where it's at!

Ummmm...I don't think so. I drive year round in sunny warm weather surrounded by hot cars, and hotter babes. Montreal v. California??? I think I'll take California.
