Rarely seeing another one is a great feature, no doubt. Love the open sky. It's the little things that I dont have to explain to anyone on this forum. I love the fact that they decided to put (as a standard feature) an AUX input in the center console. Lastly, how cool are the cup holders/storage compartment in the back seat???

yes it is. too bad i didn't know that before I opted for the ipod connection in the glove box.
even worse, to prove a point about Audi USA not really knowing **** about their cars, ( a rumor which i frequently hear), after i got my car I called audi and asked them if the '08 A3 would have the aux input . they replied "No it will not" ...pretty sad....

 

I picked it up last night...all I do is smile when I drive this car. I'm in love. this car is just amazing. Coolest feature I've found so far is the quick tilt of the blinker and it blinks 3 times and shuts off. Oh...and the sunroof. Oh...and the trip computer that tells me everything. Oh, ...and the storage compartment under the passenger seat.

 

I agree with the previous posts, the fact that I rarely, if ever, see another A3 on the road is the greatest thing about the A3.

How do I open the windows with the remote???

 

The ability to roll-down and roll-up all of the windows with the remote has to be manually programmed in. This can be done either at the dealership (for free) or from someone with a VAG-COM. I keep forgetting to ask my service manager to do it I will get it down eventually as it is getting really hot now...

 

Coolest feature? probably the uncanny ability to attract attention from the ladies. Being "cute" or not, you don't see girls dig any other hatch/wagons =P

 

Well...after a week of driving rental cars in the States...I'm missing a few features on my baby back home!

1) I can take an off-ramp that is posted at 40km/h at 120km/h without spilling my coffee. Try that in the Chevy Impala I'm driving (er. sailing...such a boat!) right now!
2) Parking sensors and folding mirrors...love them for the tight spots! (In my opinion, parking sensors should be a required safety device....prevents a driver from backing up over small children)
3) TDI power and 40mpg plus!
and last
4) THE RED DASH! Holy crap I can't stand a white dash...I can see so much better out of my A3!

 

The "german car" feel...

 

Mmmmm. My son is general manager of a Nissan store and loves German cars. When I told him that I had ordered an A3, he had no idea what it was. Now that's exclusivity. German engineering, German build quality....and attracts the ladies? What could be better?
