Default What's the difference between 08 and 07?

I'm thinking about buying A3. I've been looking at 2.0T Sport line.

What are the differences between 2007 version and 2008 version? Did they add the power seat in sports package? Did they do anything about the Open Sky that everyone is complaing about?

When is 08 coming out?

Your knowledge is appreciated

So far only confirmed difference is they are making some package option changes or maybe just renaming them. There might be a few interior cosmetic options, too, maybe including a compass. Open Sky seems to be holding up better on 07s that I know of, and they are using much better HVAC compressors than on the 06s. Safe to say the biggest difference will probably be better deals off the lot in the summer. 3.2 has the power driver's seat, but only driver's...and no memory.

I don't like power seats.

I skiped the premium pkg on myBMW to avoid 'em. They are worse than useless, evenif they (in the Audi and they did in theBMW) come with key'd memory.I drive my car 7/10ths of the time, and lucky for us, my wifeutilizes the same mirror/steering wheel/seat positions as I do. So once all those items are set, we leave'em.

I also wouldn't worry too much about the Open Sky. I have a 2006 and on rare occasion get some wind noise, but that's very rare. Otherwise, I have no problem at all with my car.

Cheers!

On the '08 they did away with the "technology package" which included the zenons, they are like $1500 or something like that now for zenons. Other than that I don't know about any other changes.

I just got an '07 today S-Line, didn't come w/ power seats! HISS! HISS! [:'(]

Yes the Tech Package is gone but the Bi-xenons are not $1,500. They are $800...but you can only get them with the Convenience Package ($350) which requires S-Line or Premium....

Why the fuss, its kind of a well known fact unless you go with the 3.2 s-line? [8D]

not a huge fuss, but you'd think a premium brand like Audi wouldn't cheap out on something like power seats, especially when you pay for an "S-line"! [8D]
