Where is the fuse panel on the A3 (98 model)?

Where is the fuse panel on the A3 (98 model)?

I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me where the fuse panel is located on the A3 (1998 model)?

My break lights are not working (the bulbs are fine) - the main lights work but when I press the break nothing happens. So I`m guessing the break light fuse needs replacing.

I don`t know where the fuse panel is to confirm it (I don`t really know if there is a separate fuse for the break lights).

Can anyone help?

typically the fuse panel is located on the side of the dash. If you open the drivers door you can see a panel that pops off. In the US it would be located on the drivers side, but i'm not sure in Europe.
