wtf is this?
WTF is this?!?!
Ok, I'm being sarcastic, I know what it is. I just want to point out that tonight is the first time I've seen this since I got the car and yesterday it was 87 deg. and I was wearing shorts. 46 deg. drop in 36 hours!
On the plus side, the 2.0T pulls like a raped ape when it is being force-fed this nice, dense air! ESP was pwning me... someone needs to figure out how to turn it off so it doesn't come back on every time you start the car.
Oh, and to answer the question that was posed a while ago- yes, my turbo does glow... when given the proper motivation [sm=gears.gif]
I also found another pic on my phone that I forgot I had, thought you guys might appreciate it...
Yes, that's miles, not kilometers

RE: wtf is this?
That symbol is a snowflake. It comes on at 41* to indicate that the roads could possibly be slick (overpasses and such). You will notice that at 42* is will not be there.
***edit*** didn't read the whole post prior to original reply. But I am leaving this info up for others that don't really know what it is.

Welcome to my world.[:@]
If the temperature continues to drop the snowflake will go back off. Mine will be on all winter unless it gets too cold. I don't remember the exact temperature that it has to drop below. I guess Audi figures if you don't think it will snow or be icy when it is 19 degrees then a symbol won't do you are darn bit of good.
That's a helluva drop in Florida, though.

Good thing I read this post before last night! I never would have expected to see this in Los Angeles but last night at about 230am I was driving home and was racing my room mate in a Volvo s60 (Kinda a ridic car!). Soon after I looked at my display and saw the snowflake....IN SANTA MONICA!!!! I tripped out for a second at seeing a new image on my display then I realized it was the snowflake and I look at the temp and sure enough +40 degrees F!!!

Hey BAMF - we just got back from FL yesterday and I don't know why you're talking about the cold. I'm glad I packed my UnderArmour shirts - the humidity and heat was brutal. Miami was hot and Jacksonville was moderate. Hey Savannah guys - didn't get a chance to get out to Tybee - there was flooding in parts of town when we arrived. Drought?
