I'm thinking about picking up an A3, but I find the 200hp available in the 2.0L TFSI motor a bit uncompelling. I did read that the A3 S-Line came with a 3.2L VR6 that puts out about 250hp during certain model years. Does anyone know which years those were? I couldn't find too much on google/wikipedia.

It's a shame they never brought the S3 or RS3 to the US. I much prefer the body style to the current GTI and other "hot hatch" offerings.

 

Wait, whuck? I can't get a VR6 with a clutch pedal?

 

Of course you can, just on the other side of the pond. But why do you want a clutch pedal when the twin clutch transmission is included in the price of the car.
