It doesnt take a super hero with precision eye sight to see that there is no way in hell youd be able to turn your front wheels without rubbing, let alone bottoming out the rear end everytime you run over a cigarette butt on the road.

 

stage 3 it, lower it, put on a bbk and s4 door blades and bumpers, and sideskirts if those were dif from a4 on b6's

 

My advice would be to stick with performance upgrades. Let me give you a rundown...

Chip (+40HP and 85lbs torque with injectors) = ~$1000
Catback / Downpipes back exhaust = $400 - $1100
Piggy Pipes (Downpipes) = $450

Those are the crucial performance upgrades to start if you want to increase your 0-60 time. After that you can step it up to a K04 turbo or even go for something a little more powerful.

 

I've always liked this for a B6 but that's just me .........

I'm not a big fan of the wheels but I like the Kerscher kit and the stance.

 

In the looks department, wheels have a dramatic effect on the look of any car and are usually one of the 1st changes most make.

R8 wheels alone on my crystal blue 02 made a big impact on the looks.

I can just imagine that Kerscher Kit with them.

Hot rodding or modifying our cars for hi performance is a definition of going beyond what came from the factory. For some its looks and others its handling and go. Do what is going to make you feel happy. Driveability, looks or a combination of the two.
