I've seen it on a few cars and you couldn't tell it was there unless you were looking for it...there are different manufacturers and how it is installed makes a difference. Some of the early films tended to yellow after a few years, but the new ones don't have that problem.

Sure beats having all the paint chips from rocks and road crap.....I'm going to have it installed in the next month or two...

i'll do a more thorough search to find a company that has been around long enough to have the kind that doesnt yellow, and has a good price. I'll try to order it up when my front bumper is being repainted.

my dad's got it on his porsche cause he goes on the track alot, i guess it makes it hella easy to get rubber streaks off and he still has beautiful paint on his bumper instead of a whole bunch of pock marks from rocks

The paint underneath of the clear bra is like brand new. I took some adhesive remover to get off whatever residue was still on there. The only thing is now a have a line where it ends but Im sure it will go away after being waxed/ buffed. Jeffs car looks great. Mine is ebony pearl and things show up more than if I were silver.

i have one on my car and it came from the factory with it, its a 2001 and it still looks great, i replaced a little side peice when i rock tore it but it saved my paint
do you guys know if there is a process to fill scars (kinda like filling a spider web in a windshield), or do you have to replace an entire section? And, this is way out there, but if the newer versions stay transparent, would it be feasable to do more than just the front bumper and fwd hood, like, the whole car wrapped in cellophane or a bazillion layers of clear coat <-- no oxidation, at least on the surface?

sorry its a little late but in reference to the waxing of the clear bra.......you are supposed to wax it whenever you wax your car, thats why they have a lifetime warranty because the more you wax the longer it looks nice and shiney clear. mine started to get dull and haze alittle so i waxed it and now its good as new, just dont get any on the edge then you will definately notice that there is a bra on the car. not to mention it could cause it to peel up.
