Hello All, It's finally time for me to get "my" first car. Right now i'm currently driving a '94 ford escort that my parents got me when i was 16. The things starting to go down the pooper, so now im looking to get my own car. Well I've been saving up for a car and have got lots of suggestions on what to get. Well i've finally decided i want to get an A4 1.8t Quattro.

I've found a few around my area that i'm interested in, but wanted to get opinions from everyone here that has one of these models.

I know to look for the timing belt on these. what other things should i be looking at and which deal do you guys think is the best one.

 

is the yellow one quattro?

the black one is probably one of the ugliest a4's I've ever laid eyes on. Just my opinion though.

The yellow one looks clean, but no quattro would mean that's a high price.

With it being a Quattro, does that price w/ the mileage seem reasonable?

 

I dont know I'm in Canada, so the prices are way different... where are you located? I know location has a bearing on prices down there.

 

Im located very near Chicago, Illinois.

Also, I went to kbb and put in the info for the car wit all the options i could choose and with excellent condition and they gave a quote price of about ~11K.

 

The price for the Brilliant Yellow car is too much. I would not pay over 11K for that car.
I do not like the looks of the black one either.

 

yeah, the yellow ones seem to ask more money... asshats.

Yea the yellow seems a bit pricey ..
