My buddy wants me to race his cougar, its 2001. he has exhaust, short shifter, and intaker. We r both manual cars. Who do u think will win?

What year cougar? Is it the V6?

 

Those things are soo slow, Do you have any other mods? stock to that may be hard but if your chipped you SHOULD take him.

 

naw i have no mods, im bone stock. he has a little mods done exhaust, short shifter, and exhaust. and his is the V6

What year cougar?

The mtx-75 V6 cougar does the 1/4 mile in 15.9 sec. Check an old issue of road and track and youll see thats what its listed at.

The CD4E V6 cougar is much slower than that, probably high 16s, low 17s.

The mtx-75 zetec cougar is faster than the automatic V6.

 

he said its a 2001... what V6 is it though the 3.8? I think hed probly kill you in stock form especialy from a dead start
