The AWE Tuning Drive Train Stabilizer (D.T.S.) eliminates the excessive engine and transmision movement found in these vehicles. The results are phenomenal throttle response, crisper and more precise shifts, and more power to the ground!

As an Audiworld member recently noted: "I immediately noticed a significant reduction in rocking of my Neuspeed short shifter, really movement is almost eliminated - nothing visible, only a little feel in the shifter when getting on and off the throttle... The AWE Tuning D.T.S. bolts directly to the undercarriage of the vehicle, using existing hardware and mounting points. No adjustments or modifications are required.

The D.T.S. is made of T6-6061 aircraft aluminum and utilizes a high durometer rubber bushing. The entire unit is a lightweight 6 lbs and will fit without clearance issues with any exhaust system currently on the market. 100% fit, 0 vibrations.

why is this so expensive?

 

Obviously, we can't speak for AWE Tuning on their retail price ($349), but it is a fairly complicated piece to design...I'm sure that was one of the factors that dictated their price.

 

I guess for what you're getting out of it. crisper shifts and better throttle response its not that much dough.
