I'm not looking for some phat rims to drop on my whip, I was just wondering about peoples experiences mounting snow/ice tires on stock wheels (the 15x7 ones.) I used to have Blizzaks on my previous car (Chevy Cavalier) and it was a blast to drive in the snow. The Cav had fairly narrow wheels, though, and I was wondering about plowing in deeper snow. I have some decent rubber (Goodyear Eagles) on right now, and I'll swap them out for snow tires come winter, and then mount some summer tires on new whees come summertime next year since there is no need to waste a good set of tires right now, I'll just kill them slowly over the summer

But yeah. Is plowing bad in deep snow with the A4? Or does the weight and Quattro make up for the somewhat wide wheels? Thanks!
