when i first got my audi it took me a while to get use to the red. when you get use to itit is nice not to bright and the numbers are lit up clearly

not a really good picture but its the only one i have and IMO they work very well</P>

 

Red does not disturb the normal night vision of the human eye. Any other spectrum of light will. I actually like my red dash lighting. Though I also just took a ride in a chipped 270hp TT and nearly crapped my pants. I did notice the gauge numbers were white while the needles were red - it looked very nice as well...</P>
