Or you could just try your local Stereo shop. Me and my friend were changing radios in his car and the Stereo place let us borrow the keys, also Best Buy let us borrow some too, but they gave us the wrong ones like 3 times. </P>
I have a correctset but have never been able to get my stereo out with them... My radio must be stuck in there - anyone know if there's a way to get it out without the tools?
You guys could help by saying what year you are talking about. Most Audi radios pull out easily by inserting 4 pins in the 4 holes. Proper size nail will do. The head of the nails should be pushed toward the passenger door for the right side and toward drivers door for the left side while pulling outward gripping the cassette opening if you have cassette. release one side at a time.

The the double din radio takes 4 keys
The older single din radio takes two (1999.5MY and below)
I finally got mine out - the internal springs were broken so the keys would not work. I jacked the thing out with a screwdriver - after taking apart my entire console.
No matter though - cuz I have totally changed my dash now anyway with the new lcd screen and whatnot...<edited><editID>brrman</editID><editDate>37880.5139930556</editDate></edited>

an 85 A6 wagon???Man, I know nothing about the car model that far back... The dash lights are probably just a dead fuse.
Your bad reception could be a bad antenna, or connection... not sure what else on that model
