Default Feel to 1.8T Stick Shift

Engine speed. For example, when Im slowing down and shifting from 2nd to first at say, 10 mph, its much easier than when I try to downshift from 2nd to 1st when Im going 20mph. Its a safety thing, where the tranny doesnt want you to be in the wrong gear.

Although, the only notchiness I have in my '98 5spd is shifting from 1st to 2nd or from 2nd to 1st, usually when car is cold. Most other gear are smooth, or maybe I just don't notice resistance when I'm rowing through the gears.

Default Feel to 1.8T Stick Shift

thats because 1st gear is not syncronized, u need to rev match pretty accurately in order to shift into 1st
