Yeah man - When I got chipped I knew I needed aboost gauge installed - so I did it myself one evening.</P>

Thats a VDO gauge (Vision series) lights up red like my interior.</P>

That one was DIY - I did it for about $3(had to buy the holecut drill bit). Can't complain about that!'</P>
You will no longer have control of that vent (if you look closely you'll notice, I have the entire vent housing turned upside down[compare the dot near the vent wheel with yours] - thats because the vents consist of only 2 flaps in the back - one flap that works the middle and left vent, and a smaller flap that works the right vent. I wanted the gauge on the left, and instead of cutting up that larger flap, I flipped the housing so I could just remove the small flap). </P>
I still let air flow through the gauged vent. You could easily block off that part if you wanted though. </P>
