Hello,
I can't speak for the 1.8 but I have the trial of XM playing on my 3.0. Head over to XM radio's web site and get their "new service" number. In your trunk on the left closets to you, there is a little hatch/pull down with some XM parts. Write the 11 or so digit number down. Tell it to the XM people and off you go. I like channels 20-23.
Enjoy!

We just took delivery of an A4 and have the XM package. You should be given a 3 month trial from XM; the dealer set ours up but just as dee said, you can set yours up by contacting XM. Its really bitchin; I've had XM in rentals in the past but never in my own car. I may never go back to CDs again.........[8D]
