A4 Ignition Shuts Off AM Radio
Tell them to look at something called the "antenna diversity box". The leads from the radio arrive here and sometimes are pulled or pinched, causing a need to replace them.
Also the AM antenna is in the rear window - this could be defective.
(2) FM antennas (Rear Passenger windows)
(1) AM antenna (Rear Window)
(1) AM/FM Antenna combiner/amplifier (D pillar)
(1) Front/Rear Antenna combiner (A pillar)
Do you have Llumar tint by any chance? Or any metallic tint for that matter.
