i saw that 0 to 60 on a 99 a4 2.8 quattro is 7.1 sec. The fastest i have done is 8.5 sec. why am i losing 1.5 seconds?

 

do you have a tip or stick? did you look up the right 0-60 time?

EDIT: i just did a quick search and i couldnt find the 1999 audi a4but i found the 1997 audi a4 2.8 q stick, and it said 0-60 in 7.7, soooo

 

well the 97 is a 12v and the 99 is the 30v so the time should be shorter than 7.7

 

i havent even redlined my car off the line yet, so no worries. i got an 01 1.8T and the fastest ive gotten it up is probably 10 seconds =P mashing off the line scares me, i dont know if i will hurt my car or not.

 

you gotta let it loose every once in a while. you wont hurt it.

 

sandman how fast does your car go....cause we have the same car except mine is a 99.5

 

IDK ive not timed it yet but i have a friend with a 12v and our cars are much faster.

oh my goodness this thread needs to be closed.... this is pathetic, lol.... chipped/exhaust 1.8 will run about a 15.2 if thats the only thing you have done, and a 30v 2.8 runs about a 15.2 stock and a 12v 2.8 runs about a 15.9 stock.... someone please close this thread
