ghetto 0-60

the cai you have may be heating up causing some heat soak. I know it sucking more air but the pipes are metal and conduct heat alot more then the stock rubber. Id wrap your piping cause that cold air charge your sucking up is getting heated from the pipes. Also I hear exhausts on these cars dont really make that big a difference. Search for the s4 thread Im arguing in, I remeber going from 2.5 to three and getting an insane difference in power but these german cars just dont seem to react to exhaust much.

Exhaust and intake does little for your car without chipping, the car is only going to flow some much and without having the added boost and power going through the car the exhaust isnt really doing a lot more than making noise, yes its a bit more free flowing but the stock exhaust with the stock program worked well to start with

I can hit 8 - 8.1 with my car.We made some runs with my friends car I bite him every run.The problem is even I drove his car I can't hit factory(8.6) times but the boost seems normal in 5-7 range. He is a bit disapointed with the car.

Sounds right to me those 18's will slow things down....esp at stock boost. These cars run such low boost from the factory that all your suporting mods wont pay off till you get in the 15-20psi range.

Even then I was happy to see the exhaust on my 99.5 was full mandrel!!! i plan on a DP but thats about it I HATE the rice sound....
