1. Yes i've got the warranty, its good for certain things of course, but me personally and as many others on the forum think that the dealers can sometimes be a waste of time. the only time i've really used my warranty is when my alarm wasnt working other than that i'm gonna do everything at other places. Also i dont know how the quoted you price wise for an extended warranty but they were charging me almost $3000, but i still have 35,000 miles or 2 years to go. so i thought it would be pointless

2. checkout http://goapr.com or http://www.giacusa.com/

thats as far as i can help

If your gonna do any modifications to it, I wouldnt even bother with the extended warrantee, you will just void it.

Hi welcome to the forum. Extened warranties are only as good as the company that backs them, what they cover and the size of the deductable.

Many companies make aftermarket chips that plug into the existing ECU. They generally cost from 300 to 600 dolars depending on make and model. On the 1.8t these chips add approximately 35-40 HP and a ton of torgue. it totally transforms the car. I would suggest saving a bit longer and checking out the chips from APR or GIAC. You can find their links at the top of the forum
