Hey guys,


I am getting my clutch & flywheel changes out... the shop just informed be I have o2 sensor out. (in the rear)

What is the purpose of this one? He's telling me I can drive without it but... I think the front ones are the ones you need right?


Can I drive on (3) 02sensors????

 

You can but you'll have a CEL on. I believe they are there to inform you when a CAT has gone bad. I just replaced my drivers side O2 and thought the car drove a little better.

 

what did you notice in driving... just trying to figure out what to look for

 

crap man, I don't have a cat on ether side and I have never had a CEL. Now when I vag it you can see that they aren't there but that doesn't bother me.
