03 A4 mod question

Haha, understood! Referring to the sound of the exhaust, I want it to sound deeper and more throaty with out sounding like some pimped out Civic...the closest thing i've heard that compares to the way i want it to sound is a VW GTI R32...are you familiar?
My main complaint about the stock A4 is the insane lag off the line. does the chip reduce that at all? My friend has a 2000 528i and he KILLS me off the line...its quite sad considering his car was 2k lbs more than my A4.

John DeLuca, your car looks just how I want mine to look..with the drop and wheels... I got mine tinted though.
I like the idea of the chip/exhaust - although I need to get an engagement ring (grrr...not really)

need to paint your lowers, or get a usp front
what lag ? if you launch correctly you should be able to take him no problem off the line

Really? In my car when i'm at a stand still at a light or something, i'll punch the gas, the thing doesnt move then around 2500-3000rpms i'll feel a kick(which i'm guessing is the turbo) and then i'm gone. but there's a good 1-2 seconds where i'm just not moving. And his old, heavy 528ikills mine until i catch him...then i'm gone but off the line he wins every time.

mmm, i was assuming you were stick.. the only thing that could get you off the line a little quicker would be the tip chip. which makes shifting a little more aggressive, not sure what it does for your 0-60 though

yeap. 4 year old car, in the shop for oil sludge. I've only had it for 6 months. month after i bought it, the bose amp went bad, AC condenser burned, up vacuum check valve went bad, coolant temp sensor went bad, and now an oil sludge problem that i'm fighting to get covered under the extended warranty with audi...i love this car to DEATH but she has NOT been a cheap date to be sure.
