034 Drive-By-Cable Conversion
well....
i dont remeber right but depending how much you willing to spend you might be able to get your ecm re-flashed for a DBC setup instead of DBW.
The only thing that might be needed is to modify the plug at the throtlebody and install the rest of the hardware wich would be the Pedal assembly, throtle cable, trotle cable bracket and also a new DBC throtlebody will be required to take place of the OE one)

yea i forgot about that jeff, i have a throttle body that might work, but a vr6 obd1 thorttle body would be a better choice. You will also need the cable, housing, and pedal cluster.
Also the dbc cars didnt have a flashable ecu so I'm not sure if that would work i guess maybe u could try to flash a dbc file onto a dbw ecu?

Most people that have standalone have a BT and need a custom tune. Since chip tuning for BT setups are not a full true tune its is wise to go standalone to get the max out of the car with a good tune. How far are you going with your car? BT or just chip, k04 something along those lines. Most tuning for k04s and BT kits like apr and pes the tuning is good since your car is running everything for their tune. Once you start putting together a custom kit chip tuning isn't gonna be good.
