Default 07 A4 S-line package, question:

Is S-line Package worth to get for 07 A4 2.0T quattro manual

I notice premium is $800, sport suspension is $500. That's only $1300
and S-line Package alone is $4400.

So I'm paying extra $3100 for 18" inch rims and tires only, compare to 17" with the premium package

Is S-line package worth to get?

well... badge doesn't cost much.

And I notice Premium 17" rims give 45mm tires, and S-Line Package 18" rims give 40mm tires.

Therefore, 18" rims give thinner tires than 17" rims

So I believe there won't be a difference in term of performance

What do you guys think?

You drive both version everyday?
Can you notice any difference in performance?

The tires on 18"s will be wider to give you more traction, but since the sidewall is smaller it will rougher ride. Also on 18" potholes are more damaging than with 17"s. If you do go with the 18"s always have 40psi of air in them to prevent outer edge tire wearing.

Doesn't the S-Line come with door blades and pointy lip trunk lid?

You are paying for a lot more than wheels and tires, you also get the s-line front and rear bumpers (the front is basically an s4 bumper), s-line door blades, s4 trunk lid with integrated spoiler, badges, s-line steering wheel and shift ****. As far as potholes and things go, you don't have to worry bout them that much, your wheels aren't made of tin. The differences between the s-line and the average A4 are purely cosmetic, with the exception of the better grip you will get with wider tires.

Personally I think the B7 s-line could have been better because i barely see the difference in the to bumpers but there is one and that is a large part of the money. When I bought my B6 Ultrasport/s-line which is equivalent to the B7 s-line you could see the differences right away, but i am bias seeing as i own one. If i was to get a B7 and I have been contemplating it, I would definetly get the S-line package. My .02
