1.8L engine block
... Oh my God, stop talking.
My Laser was running 26psi, and my EGT was reading just fine at 800, EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) is there so you can tune, it lets you know if you're running rich, lean, or stoich and take a wild guess at how many of us actually have EGTs on our Audis? Maybe one or two on this board.
Your ramble of words made no sense at all, seriously.
You do relize with a simple chip, you can run 18psi, on stock K03 Turbocharger? Right? So you're telling me a mildly modified A4 is DANGEROUS for the streets? All of you chipped A4 drivers keep your car in their garages, and save that beast for the tracks! 20psi?! That can't be safe!
Christ, you pissed me off.

Anything over 20psi is dangerous for the street, anything over that should only be used on a track for 1/4 mile runs, or on a car with a 6 billion$ engine... the heat produced above that is too much for the cars to handle, any cars. If you want to produce the power you are looking for, get a bigger turbo, make up for the air pressure with volume, because in the end that is the goal... to increase the volumetric efficiency of the engine, and with forced induction, for a general rule, 1 bar (14.7psi) will double your v.e. If you use that kind of pressure, you will FRY everything around the exhaust and turbo... Watch your EGT's

Wow.. i am a moderate noob when it comes to tuning. And I can confidently say that you really have no clue what you are talking about. Please tell me you are on drugs, or have some sort of mental incapacity. WOW!
