Default 1.8T or 2.8 quattro?

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion on which motor they think is better for the a4 quattro. If you have any specific reasons for your answer, please tell me why, I'm trying to learn all I can about these things.

1.8t – more options if you wanna upgrade.

I'd much rather keep my 1.8T than have a 2.8. I love the turbo, plus you can get more out of a 1.8T

ive had both a 2.8 and a 1.8T

basically to reiterate:
2.8 faster stock, nicer interior, can only mod suspension and exterior/interior (can s/c it but thats 5k for modest returns for the price)
1.8t endless modding capabilities (almost), better gas mileage, can mod everything above, and get more power out of it for your $
