Default 1.8T tomorrow!

Going to test drive and almost for sure buya B6 1.8T quattro tomorrow. From what I've read on here people generally seem to think theres nothing worth than a run down Audi but nothing better than a well kept one. The car has 122000 klms on it (approx 75000 miles), one previous owner, all service records, and looks brand new for$19000.From whatI can tell it has all the bells and whisteles on it too. Rain sensing wipers and flip key! I would probably by a 1962 Dodge Tuereno if it came with a flip key and rain sensing wipers.

Anyways, one quick question. I know its a long shot but would anyone here by chance have experience with "Platinum Motors" in Calgary, AB? I wanna know if they're trying to financially shank me.

Thanks very much for any help.

Woah, you're being lead then. 19k for a car that much? 04's here go for 26k with only 20k miles...And they're Quattro's. Fully loaded.

Thats weird. Cause $20000 and above seems to be the goingrate here. Oh, and its an '02.

Here is a link to the add on the internet (I have seen it though). Its kind of a straight forward photo.

That's pretty much the going rate in Canada. I checked the prices in Calgary because I'm from Cowtown and I plan on moving back in about a year. I bought my 03 1.8TM quattro for $20,000 (US) about ($23,500 cdn) in San Diego with 41,000 miles. When I checked what the selling price in Canada was for the car in Calgary specifically they were selling for $25,000-$27,000, mind you i searched the same year make and model as my car. Audi's are more expensive in Canada...I have no idea why.

That is still quite a few km's on that car for how old....I fI were you I get to an Audi dealership and get the Certified preowned....worth it!

You mean take it to a dealership and get it inspected? Or actually look for one in a dealership?

Coberst,

I got my 02 1.8T Quattro Manual with 98,000 kms for 17,500 CANADIAN in March of 07. It was cheaper because in the winter they will sell for FAR LESS. Wait until January before you make the decision to buy.
